Research Studies
The CAIR Observatory is a research center building upon the work of earlier authors. Three major studies have been done:
- Muslim Mafia: A groundbreaking book based on a 6 month undercover investigation at CAIR’s national headquarters in Washington, DC. Chris Gaubatz posed as a Muslim convert and became an intern at CAIR, gaining access to thousands of insider documents that tie CAIR conclusively to the Muslim Brotherhood network in the United States.
- CAIR Exposed: A comprehensive and deeply researched 10-part study published in 2008 by the Investigative Project on Terrorism under the direction of Steven Emerson. This is the foundational work on CAIR based on his important collection of documents spanning the 1990’s and the 2000’s.
- Extremism and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR): A significant study released in 2007 by an anonymous author(s). If any reader can assist us in identifying the origins of this study we would very much like to give the author(s) credit for a useful piece of work.
