After two man attacked a cab driver, CAIR calls on FBI to investigate if Islamaphobia played a role in the crime.
CAIR-Sacramento Valley Civil Rights Coordinator Adel Syed said: “The FBI and local law enforcement authorities should investigate whether this disturbing crime was motivated by anti-Muslim hate and then bring appropriate charges when and if the perpetrators are apprehended.”
In the same press release, CAIR tries to raise awarness of its fight against Islamaphobia: “CAIR’s national office recently announced the launch of a department devoted to addressing the alarming rise of Islamophobic sentiment in American society. “
