Is your community or family threatening you?&#8221; and included the address of an online resource for those who wish to leave Islam.<\/p>\n<p>The ads began running on April 13th but just two days later, following pressure from CAIR-Florida, the bus ads were pulled down.\u00a0 The Miami-Dade Country Transit Authority stated that they had pulled them because they were &#8220;offensive to Muslims.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CAIR issued nationwide press releases celebrating its \u201cvictory\u201d in suppressing free speech on the grounds that the ads promoted \u201cbigotry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On April 21 the offices of David Yerushalmi, P.C. announced that the ads had been reinstated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is ironic,\u201d Mr. Yerushalmi noted, \u201cthat the media allows CAIR to claim the mantle of a civil rights organization when it embraces censorship by the government all in the service of the \u2018anti-blasphemy\u2019 platform of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), which calls for international legislation providing for criminal penalties against anyone who \u2018insults Islam and its prophet Mohammed.\u2019 Free speech is apparently not one of the freedoms in CAIR\u2019s version of the U.S. Constitution\u2014at least not for critics of Islam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Yerushalmi added that the Center for Security Policy, a leading Washington D.C. national security think tank run by former Reagan administration official Frank Gaffney, has documented that CAIR is an illegal, unregistered foreign agent of the OIC, receiving millions of dollars from Islamic countries in order to pursue their political goals in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidyerushalmi.com\/Law-Offices-of-David-Yerushalmi--P-C--Win-Victory-for-the-First-Amendment-and-Clients-b17-p0.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.davidyerushalmi.com\/Law-Offices-of-David-Yerushalmi&#8211;P-C&#8211;Win-Victory-for-the-First-Amendment-and-Clients-b17-p0.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/2010\/04\/16\/1581903\/miami-dade-transit-says-it-will.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/2010\/04\/16\/1581903\/miami-dade-transit-says-it-will.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Political Influence Operation Date: April 15, 2010 Description: Stop the Islamization of America (SIOA) bought ads on ten Miami-Dade County buses which asked the question &#8220;Fatwa on your head?
