CAIR filed suit against DuPage County and 18 county officials claiming discrimination in the County Board’s vote against allowing a Muslim worship center near Naperville, IL. CAIR attorney Kevin Vodak maintains that the Irshad Learning Center was treated differently than other religious and secular institutions in the county and that “religious bigotry” played a part in denying Irshad the permit.
